It is so wonderful to see the housing on the T.E.A.R.S. Center starting to come together! We want to give a heartfelt thanks to the McQuiddy team for their hard work and generosity. What a fantastic job they did on phase two! When this project is finished, housing will be available in the main dwelling. Short-term teams of 10 to 20 people will be able to stay on the property.
T.E.A.R.S. owns 6 acres here, in the outskirts of the barrio (ghetto) Maria Auxiliadora, near our T.E.A.R.S. School, El Camino church, Haitian outreach in Soto, the Church planting outreach in Los Pomos, and just minutes from our offices. This will help cut cost for teams, making it easier for them to come and build relationships here in the D.R.
We are now ready to embark on phase 3: siding, electrical, pluming and flooring! Are you ready? If you are interested in bringing down a work team to help finish this project please contact us and we will give you all the needed information. God is doing great things here in the Dominican Republic, and you can be a part of it. We hope to see you soon!
In His grace,
Rod Davis, Director T.E.A.R.S.

Rod and Twila, the changes in the TEARS Center are remarkable. Looking forward to bringing a team from Calgary and using the new facilities.
