While struggling through the holidays with defeat after defeat (pumpkin pie, brownies, cookies, Dark meat turkey, gravy, etc), I dedicated myself to running more, much more. My runs were seven kilometers almost every day. Then, I blew out my right knee: no more running or walking. I determined to do something so I started lifting weights to maintain some type of exercise. I knew that I would gain weight again, and sure enough, I did. I am feeling stronger but I am really struggling to lose the pounds. I keep telling myself, “it’s ok, just keep working at it, don’t give up.” I reminding myself how I felt weighing 365 lbs. I feel like I can’t break through this 290 pound wall. My weigh-in revealed a 5lb. gain which puts me back at 301lbs. Please continue to pray with me that I will stay motivated and for God’s grace to overcome the injury.
In His Grace,
Rod
