Fun in February

A big thank you to Varsity Bible Church (VBC) of Calgary, Alberta for all they enabled the El Camino church leaders and T.E.A.R.S. School leaders to do during two busy weeks in February. Because of their help and support we were able to do numerous activities including the fourth annual kids camp, a family night of teaching and activities for all ages, a one day youth camp with baseball for boys and fun activities for girls, dance lessons for the church dance team, team building & training, a large electrical project at the T.E.A.R.S. leadership training center, and much more. VBC is unique in that they’ve made a long term commitment to the Maria Auxiliadora community, longing to make an impact there spiritually and developmentally through a partnership with the local church. In order to help the bond grow between church bodies we went on a few fun outings together as well as had some heart to heart sharing times. All around it was a great blessing to have them here and is a blessing to be in a partnership with them.

We want to give a quick thank you to the visitors we’ve have these past two months from Corvallis, Oregon; Grand Prairie, Alberta; Calgary, Alberta; and Beaverton, Oregon. Though roughing it in our barrio guest house, nothing stopped them from being a great blessing to the people around them and to T.E.A.R.S. Ministry. Thank you from all of us.
