I received a call today, Greici, my assistant, was in tears. We had planned to finish the salvage process today so that we could begin classes tomorrow. When she arrived at the school the materials that had been so carefully sorted and organized were now soaked and all our classrooms had been flooded. Not having our third floor roof had left us very vulnerable to the tropical evening rains and our “safe storage” was not so safe. So we begin again, our materials need list growing each day.
Honestly, it has been a really tough week….so much going on I won’t share in a group email. Please keep us in your prayers. It can feel lonely sometimes.
