God helped me to :
1. Celebrate a Wedding on May 3rd 2008. The couple’s names are Djamson T. Luc and Mimose Joseph. Since 2002 we have now celebrated 9 weddings.
2. Buy a plot of land, 210 meters, for 42,000 pesos. When the time is right we have plans to build a house which will be a great blessing to my family.
3. The Haitian Church in Soto collected enough pesos (20,000 pesos) together to buy an electric generator. Rod ordered it from the U.S. for us. We’ve been using it for two weeks now and are very content.
4. All of the churches responsibilities are coming along nicely. We have leaders working in all different areas for the advancement of the kingdom of God. On the 11th of this month Rod drove us in the new red truck to a town called “Cabuya” with the goal to win souls for Christ. Eight people came forward to receive the Lord.
5. God did a miracle for me. There were a lot of things hindering me from getting my driving license here in the Dominican Republic, yet just recently God helped me get it easily.
Prayer requests:
1. I ask for prayer for my oldest son Baez, he’s going to graduate from the 8th grade at the end of this month. I’d like God to help me find a good high school from my son. He is very intelligent.
2. I ask for prayer for my wife Diana, her visa papers recently expired and she is presently illegal here. We are working on getting this resolved. Please pray for God’s grace to do so.
3. The school is going well. I ask for pray for the students that they would receive a good education. Emmanuel is a University student and is committed to give an education to the Haitian children who have many great needs and can’t attend regular Dominican schools.
Praise to God!
1. I am thankful to God for my and my family’s salvation.
2. I’m thankful to God for his Holy Spirit in my life.
3. I’m thankful to God for helping me to be a servant to the Haitian community.
4. I’m thankful to God for helping me receive all this wealth (spiritual and material) that have been given onto me because of Him.
