With my one year commitment winding down the truth is I feel like I am just getting started! Remembering what it felt like to weigh 365 pounds and considering how I feel now there is no question in my mind that I can’t stop. The changes I have made in lifestyle, eating and exercise have improved every facet of my life. I am very grateful for the successes and try not to let my failures get me down. It is nice to look back to see how far I have come but yesterday is gone. I realize that tomorrow does not exist, so that just leaves today! One day at a time, one meal at a time, one work-out at a time for the rest of my life. My June weigh-in puts me at 285 pounds (80 pounds total loss). Thank you for your support and prayers.

Hey Rod, I’m so proud of you! This is such cool news. Wow, amazing. It’s been so great to be part of this journey, praying for you, and being humbled by your vulnerability during all this. Way to take incredible steps toward being healthy body, soul, and spirit. I love you! (Just so you know, even though there’s now less of you, I don’t love you any less).

Rod,
That is just so awesome. Having been there myself, I can imagine how much better you feel. Keep up the great work, I know how challenging it can be.

Hey Rod,
Awesome job big guy! I understand the committment required, and the one day at a time attitude. I’ve also been losing, but I’m only at half your total loss so far. At the rate you’re going, you’ll be skinnier than me next time we’re down there.
Great job!!
