A Juggling Act

So I’m getting more sleep now, and that has been nice, but I feel much more stressed out with juggling all the responsibilities of wife, mother, and employee. I feel like I am constantly changing hats and never wearing one of them long enough to do a job well done. People tell me that this will get easier, but I’m not sure how or when. For those of you who know me, I am an overachiever. And I have this inability to relax if there is anything “pending,” whether it be in the wife, mother, or employee category. So, basically, I’m not doing much relaxing….because there is ALWAYS something to be done!!

I have purposed to make myself put some things off each day and make time to rest. It has been a struggle, but I have found myself feeling more relaxed (even though things aren’t finished) and even able to enjoy my life a little more.

Please continue to pray for me and Luis & Mia as we make this transition into a new phase of our lives!!

Aw Jen, I am glad you are sleeping better and enjoying the different changes in your life. I can only imagine, based on my short visits, how busy you are and how hard it is to juggle everything. I will pray for you as I know you are needed in all of these areas and are no doubt doing an outstanding job as wife, mother and employee. I can’t think of a better group to be surrounded in as you continue to discover this new phase in life. El dios le bendice todos.
