El Camino | Focus on Families

On behalf of Iglesia El Camino (The Way Church), God Bless all of you who are reading this blog. These past few months we as a church have been talking about how we are working in the church and about what vision God has given us. One thing that is clear is that God wants us to focus on the families of our community. We are praying a lot and seeking strategies for this vision. At present we are praying about holding a family retreat that we’d like to do in either July or August. We’d like to take all the church families to a place outside the city where we could talk, pray and share the bible with the kids, fathers and mothers for 3 days. We’ll aim to involve the whole family in completing the vision God is giving us at this time. We’re praying that this retreat goes well and that we can get past some of the present obstacles. We’re praying that we can find a good place to hold the retreat and that God will provide everything needed for each activity and for each family.
