Here at T.E.A.R.S. we are excited about what God is doing in our midst. In the Haitian Community, in the barrios around La Vega, through visual and creative arts, house visitation, church ministries, and community programs–we are grateful for the way in which God is allowing us to see His Kingdom come.
Further, we are thankful for the opportunity to share some of our ministry life and learnings through pictures and words on our blog…and thankful for your partnership and that you take the time to stay tuned and connected with us here in the Dominican Republic.
Now, having said that, all of us at T.E.A.R.S. are keenly aware that God is doing so many things in and through his people all over the world. We realize that we fit into a greater story of what God—plainly put: the world is not revolving around T.E.A.R.S. and what is happening here. As we find ourselves in the larger story of God’s Kingdom work here in the DR and around the globe, we are grateful for the numerous other ministries and individuals from which we have learned and been inspired and challenged by.
With this in mind, we are want to be a resource. Our hope is that a visit to tears.org will not only keep you posted and tuned in to what is happening in and around T.E.A.R.S. but also direct your attention to information, ideas, and resources that will encourage, challenge, deepen and inspire your faith journey.
