Summer vacation has come and gone as today marked Day 1 of the new school year. This year the T.E.A.R.S. School is grateful to be adding a grade 4 class which, in the Dominican Republic, forms the basic level of primary education. So, as students graduate from the T.E.A.R.S. School they will be able to transition and join other student entering the next level of primary education.
With 106 students this year, the T.E.A.R.S. School is a buzz with teachers, students, and parent volunteers. The T.E.A.R.S. school allows children to receive Christ-centered primary education free of charge. Thank you for your partnership which makes this possible. Without the needed paper work (birth certificate or Catholic baptism certificate), documents which are not always possible to receive, children are unable to enter school and are without option. The T.E.A.R.S. School, however, does present and option for these children to not only start their educational journey but to learn about the love of Christ and his deep and tender care for them.
Again, thank you for your partnership which makes this possible. Please view our Teacher Profiles HERE and learn more about our Teacher Sponsorship Program.
