If there were one word to describe Delia, it would be: intense. Everything she does, she does with energy. Whether it’s eating, talking, praying, teaching, exercising, hanging out, whatever, she does it aggressively. Delia is a great communicator, and she is often able to connect with visitors that come over, even if they don’t speak Spanish.
Delia is also uniquely capable of pretty well anything. She can build cabinets, frame a wall, go out and buy construction materials, and teach a range of academic subjects, right now she is doing physical education! When Delia is not here; it’s like something in missing, and when she enters a room she brings with her a presence that always brightens the mood.
