Marisol has a heart for the youth in the barrio of Maria Auxiliadora, especially the young girls. She has worked hard to build special relationships with many of her students; her child-like nature has been like a bridge into their world. Just ask her about Mickey Mouse and her eyes will light up.
A former T.E.A.R.S. intern, Marisol lived with Rod Davis and his family as she was finishing her education. At the moment she is presenting her university thesis, and by the end of this year will be fully certified. Marisol has taught with us every year, except 2005, during which time she was pregnant. She is now taking care of a four-month old baby girl.
