The name Milagros means “miracle” in Spanish, and we are so thankful that God has brought her here to serve with us at the T.E.A.R.S. School. She has a very gentle spirit and is able to relate to others in a very real way. She has been said to stand out distinctively as a “feeler.”
Milagros is remarkably talented at integrating learning into all occasions. Whether her students are studying math, enjoying sports outside or eating lunch, she is able to create an experience of growth for her students. She is kind and compassionate inside and outside of her class. At home she takes care of three children: one six-month old boy and two girls, both of whom are enrolled in our school.
It is a time of transition and development for Milagros as her home is currently under construction and she is working on her university thesis. She will be fully certified by the end of this year.
