Sunilda is like the grandma you would want for your kids. She just oozes love, even when she corrects. Kids adore her because of how enthusiastic and positive she is, Sunilda can never be seen complaining.
This woman is a true testimony to the beauty and power of God in our lives. She recently underwent a full hysterectomy for cancer, and she truly believes that God gave her cancer in order to teach her how to share the gospel. For an entire year she would get up at five in the morning, take public transportation to chemotherapy, and return to the school to teach, always excited and full of stories about how the Lord had given her opportunities to share or had taught her something new in the midst of such hard times.
Sunilda has been like a light to her colleagues, and she really views her work here at the school as ministry. She has been teaching with us for five years.
