Wanda was first introduced to T.E.A.R.S. as an intern, and has been with us ever since. She is tons of fun; an animated woman full of joy. Her laughter is very recognizable, even from a distance. When watching her work, it immediately becomes clear that she loves to serve and takes pride in being our cook. She always does the best with what she has; one of here favorite phrases is: “We’re not rich, but we’re classy”.
Wanda is also a natural leader and powerful prayer warrior. She is passionately engaged in women’s ministry, and those involved have a deep love for her. Wanda has four children, one has graduated from the T.E.A.R.S. School, two are enrolled, and one is at home. She is going back to high school to finish her education. As kind of a side note, we’ve found she’s particularly fond of the color red.
